On January 30, 2019, at 12:00 am, at the joint seminar of the departments “Differential Equations” and “Equations of Mathematical Physics” scientific researcher of the “Cosmic Plasma and Heliogeophysical Problems” department of the Shamakhy Astrophysical Observatory named after Nasiraddin Tusi, Mahir Pirguliyev will gave a talk on “Low-Frequency Eigenoscillations of the Differentially Rotating Solar Interior with Magnetic Field”.

The report will consider the formation of the global vortex Rossby-like eigenmodes with long periods, their connection with the global variability of the Earth’s climate and the mathematical difficulties of the physical problem.
