Weekly seminar on September 13.11.2019, 10:00 a.m. will feature a report by Leading Reseacher of the Applied MathematicsDepartment Elkhan Mejid oglu Abbasov, entitled “Modeling of Gas Filtration Process in Well-Reservoir System”.

In the report an integral model of the gas filtration process is constructed and the coupled equations of unsteady movement of gas in the well-reservoir system are jointly solved based on the law of wellhead pressure change.The wellhead and bottom-hole pressures are determined when no instantaneous well shut-in. Analytical expressions are obtained that allow us to study pressure buildup curves taking into account the dynamic well- reservoir relationship and the no instantaneous cessation of gas flow.
