Today the regular Institute seminar was held. In the seminar of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of ANAS, the report of the senior research assoicate of the department of the “Differential equations”, d.m.s., prof. Ziyatkhan Seyfaddin oglu Aliyev gave a talk “Global bifurcation of solutions of the nonlinear Sturm-Liouville problems with indefinite weight”.

The report deals with nonlinear eigenvalue problems for the Sturm-Liouville equation with an indefinite weight. Information on the structure and behavior of global continua of solutions from zero and infinity to these problems is provided.
