Ibrahim Kamran oglu Maharov was born on May 23, 1957 in Shikhlar village of Aghdam region. In 1979 he graduated from the faculty of mechanics and mathematics of the Azerbaijan State University (BSU). In 1979, he started working as a senior laboratory assistant in the Special Design Bureau of the RMI of the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, where he worked as an engineer, senior engineer, leading engineer.

In 1990, he was transferred to the “Mathematical Modeling” laboratory of the IMM, in 1994, he was transferred to the “Mathematical Analysis” department as a researcher. In 1999, he was transferred to the Department of Theory of Functions as a senior researcher.

In 2000 he defended his Phd dissertation on the specialty 01.01.01-mathematical analysis, in 2019 he received the title of associate professor on analysis and functional analysis.

Since 1992, he has been engaged in pedagogical activities at Zangi Lyceum.

In 2019, he was awarded the Medal of Progress by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
