Today the regular seminar was held. In the seminar of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics a senior researcher of the department “Function Theory”, cand. ph.-m. s., associate professor, Niyazi Aladdin oglu Ilyasov gave a talk with presentation entitled “On various properties of periodic summable functions with only one condition on modulus of continuity of the second order”.

Exact descending orders for a number of quantities, which characterize various properties of 2- periodic summable functions from the class with a given majorant of a modulus of continuity of the second order are found. It is proved that all these quantities have the same descending order (under a condition on majorant), which is realized by one extremal function.
