Today, the next General Institute seminar was held at the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.  At the seminar with a report on the topic “Determination of the resistance force of a body moving in a fluid” the head of the department “Applied Mathematics”, candidate of mechanical sciences Elkhan Abbasov.

It is shown in the work that the resistance force acting on a body moving in a fluid is determined by the integral of the fractional form of the velocity. An example is shown.
