Weekly seminar on Octember 07, 2015, 10.00 will feature a report by PHD, Geylani Panahov, department chief of “Fluid mechanics”, entitled “Hydrodynamic techniquesfor immobile hydrocarbons recovery under the capillary inhomogeneity”.
The report presents the results of the study of immobilizehydrocarbons recovery underdisplacement in highly permeable channels through intensive oil entrainment from low permeable jammed pores, under the “drawing” effects and shows the effect of hydrodynamic and capillary forces on the process efficiency.
The possibility of optimizing the reservoir flooding by successive periodic increase of hydrodynamic pressure in order to extract capillary jammed oil.
