FaikWeekly seminar on December 02, 2015, 10.00 will feature a report by Professor F.B. Nagiyev, entitled “Some problems of mechanics gas-liquid medium”.
Results of calculations showed that the equation of state of a bubble -liquid mixtures proposed by R.I.Nigmatulin well describes the state of gas-liquid mixtures in a wide range of fluid pressure and of the gasvolume concentration.
Proposed new equation of state of gas-liquid mixture, agree well with those obtained in numerical calculations.
Offered convenient to use for conducting analytical studies equation of state in the form of exponential and power functions.
Are described the basic patterns of distribution of and attenuation of sound in seawater. Givenphysicalinterpretationthesepatterns.
Both theoretically and experimentally verified assumption about significant drop in pressure and density decreases with increasing water flow velocity around the marine vessel due to the presence of gas bubbles.
A mathematical model, and hypothesis for solving the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle are presented.Calculations allow to detect an area where the phenomenon of “disappearances” of ships and planes that could improve the safety of navigation.
The proposed model allows theoretically to assess the degree subsidence of the ship and the formation of concavities on the surface of the sea, around the moving ship.
