On 11.02.2016, at 11.00 the third seminar of the department of «Optimal Control» will be held. At the seminar prof. Hamlet Guliyev will give a talk on «SOME OPTIMAL CONTROL PROBLEMS FOR THE HYPERBOLIC EQUATIONS».
In the report the background on the establishment of the theory of optimal control problems with distributed parameters will be presented. Then the necessary optimality conditions type of Pontryagin maximum principle will be derived in the optimal control problem for the weakly nonlinear hyperbolic equations with non-local conditions. Applying the optimal control methods to the ill-posed Cauchy-Dirichlet problem for the Poisson equation, the causes of ill-posedness of the considered problems are identified.
