On 11.02.2016, at 11.00 “Optimal Control” department held its seminar on “Some optimal control problems for hyperbolic equations”.
Development history of optimal control problems with distributed parameter was featured. Obtaining necessary and sufficient conditions in the of Pontryagin’s maximum principle for optimal control problems described by nonlinear hyperbolic equations with nonlocal condition was shown. Applying the optimal control methods for Poisson equation to ill-posed Cauchy-Dirichlet problem, the reasons of ill-posedness of the problem were determined.
