Professor Nail Ibragimov is widely regarded as one of the world’s foremost experts in the field of symmetry analysis of differential equations. He initiated and conducted major developments in theory and applications of modern group analysis (http://www.mathnet.ru/rus/person22634).
Currently he is Professor of Mathematics and director of ALGA (Advances in Lie Group Analysis) at the Blekinge Institute of Technology, Karlskrona, Sweden.
