On 16.06.2016, at 11.00 the tenth seminar of the department of «Optimal Control» will be held. At the seminar leading researcher of Institute of Control Systems Yegana Ashrafova will give a talk on «THE NUMERICAL SOLUTION OF THE PROBLEM OF DETERMINING LOCATIONS AND VOLUMES OF FLUID LEAKAGE IN A COMPLEX PIPELINE NETWORKUNDER NON-STATIONARY REGIMES».
In this work proposed a numerical solution to an inverse problem in the hydraulic network of complex loopback structure, which consists in determining the locations and rate of leakage in the presence of any point of the pipeline results of additional observations of non-stationary regimes of fluid motion. We reduce the stated problem to the parametric optimal control problem with non-separated boundary conditions. Analytical formulas for the gradient of the functional were obtained. These formulas allow one touse numerical methods of first-order optimization for solving the problem posed. Some results of numerical experiments are given.
