Today the tenth seminar of “Optimal Control” department was held. The leading research associate of the Institute of Control Systems Yegana Ashrafova gave a talk on “Determination of places and volume of percolation during unstationary motion of fluid in complex structure pipelines networks” was held.
Based on motion of fluid in annular structural network in nonstationary mode, a problem on determination of places and volume of percolation in any parts of pipelines was considered. The problem is reduced to an optimal control problem with nonseparated boundary condition.
In the paper, analytic expressions for the gradient of aim function were obtained and this enables to get to use first order numerical methods.
The numerical experimental results were also given.
