Admission rules for PhD doctoral studies:

Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan are admitted on a competitive basis to a full-time higher education (Master’s degree or with the equal higher education).

Young professionals are allowed to take exams only after graduating from a higher education institution (magistracy) only with the guarantee of the Higher Education Scientific Council.

The following documents are available for admission to doctoral degree:

– The application to the head of the institution or organization in which the doctorate is functioning;

– personal registration card of staff (with 3 × 4 cm 4 photographs);

– autobiography;

– characterization of employment;

– Extract from the employment history for those with work experience;

– List of published scientific works or abstracts for selected specialty;

– duly certified copy of diploma on completion of higher education institution (Certificate of recognition of education documents for citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan studying in foreign countries);

– international certificate of foreign language (if available);

– A copy of the identification document.

Those who want to apply for a PhD degree are enrolled in the admission exams in the curriculum, foreign language and philosophy, which are valid for a Master’s degree in higher education.

Documents for PhD will be accepted every day from the date of publication.
Persons who have been admitted to the doctoral studies exams are paid leave within 30 calendar days from the workplace in accordance with the Labor Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

All PhD students studying separately from work, are provided.

Those adopted are not provided by the hostel.

The number of places reserved for the specialty is shown in approved plans for scientific institutions.

Admission rules for PhD and doctor of science dissertations:

In order to obtain a PhD degree from the dissertation, the persons with higher education (graduate of higher education or equal to it), scientific and scientific-pedagogical staff of higher education institutions, scientific and other organizations having certain success in the field of relevant research they can submit a document.

Persons who have completed the term of study by dissertation can not be re-dissertant on the same specialty.

Persons who have completed full-time education in the doctorate can not be trained on dissertation on the same specialty.

Persons who want to be dictated as a dissertant should, as a rule, have a scientific and scientific-pedagogical work experience.

The following documents must be submitted to the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of ANAS for admission to the dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy:

– The application (the institution or organization in which the doctorate is functioning to the head of);

– personal registration card of staff (with 3 × 4 cm 4 photographs);
– autobiography;

– characterization of employment;

– a list of reports on scientific works, inventions and scientific research; scientific report (referrer) on the specialty chosen by people who have no published scientific works and inventions;

– copy of diploma about graduation from higher education institution and extract from the mark list;

– a copy of employment history;

– A copy of the identification document.

The main criterion for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy by the dissertation is to obtain a Ph.D. degree.

The following documents must be submitted to the IMM of ANAS for admission to the dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Science:

– The application to the head of the institution or organization in which the doctorate is functioning;

– personal record sheet of staff (with 3 × 4 cm 4 photographs);

– autobiography;

– characterization of employment;

– List of published scientific works (on preparation of doctor of sciences);

– duly certified copy of the diploma of the doctor of philosophy (PhD);

– duly certified diploma on graduation from higher education institution
copy;

– copy of employment history;

– A copy of the identification document.
