On October 9, 2019 at 12:00 will be a joint seminar of the department “Differential Equations” and the department “Equations of  Mathematical Physics” on the topic  “Harnack inequality and continuity by Hölder of a solution of the p-Laplace equation with a Makenhaupt weighted, of uniformly degenerate in the domain”.

At the seminar, an assistant professor Sarvan Tahmaz oglu Huseynov will make a report on this topic. During the report, a class of uniformly degenerate second-order quasilinear elliptic equations of divergent form will be considered. For solutions of equations of this type, continuity by Hölder  and the weak Harnack inequality  for non-negative solutions will be proved.
